2. Personal data we collect We collect the following categories of data:

  • Data you give us: when you use the contact form, your name, email address and the content of your message.
  • Data collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, date and time of access, and browsing data obtained through cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookie Policy).
  • Calculator input: the dates, country and options you enter in the calculator. When you ask the AI assistant for a summary or a question, that input and your question are sent to our AI provider to generate the answer (see section 5). Do not enter personal information into the assistant.
  • Preferences: settings such as your light or dark display choice are stored in your browser and are not linked to your identity.

We do not process special categories of data and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.

3. Purposes of the processing

  • Providing the Website and its tools: calculating business days and answering questions you ask the AI assistant.
  • Answering your messages sent through the contact form or by email.
  • Statistics and improvement: measuring aggregate use of the Website with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
  • Advertising: the Website shows ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), personalized ads are shown only with your prior consent, which you give or refuse in the consent message shown on your first visit.
  • Security and legal obligations: protecting the Website against abuse and responding to requests from competent authorities.

4. Legal basis Providing the tools, answering messages and protecting the Website are based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Analytics that are not strictly necessary and personalized advertising are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings. Compliance with legal obligations is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

5. Service providers and transfers We use the following providers, who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers as described in their own policies:

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where personal data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer them and for up to 2 years afterwards, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of the analytics provider (Google Analytics: at most 14 months for user-level data). Cookies expire as listed in the Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability, by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Data protection”. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.

8. Security We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access or alteration. The Website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections.

9. Changes We update this Privacy Policy when the Website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
